Tell us about yourself and your business: I am a work from home mother of three kids helping others find legit hourly-paid jobs at home as well as scam-free home based opportunities. For five years, I have worked independently from home and I have gained extensive knowledge and wisdom on how to find genuine jobs online. The Workers Lounge was created for this particular purpose…to help connect women with real online opportunities and to avoid scams.
What inspired you to start a business? My desire to create The Workers Lounge was born initially by two thoughts…to spend more time with my family and to help create a safe haven for them; however my stimulation did not stop there. As the internet evolved there had became an increasingly high ratio of scams to real jobs at home. In 2008, the scam ration peaked at 58:1. This is when I decided that enough was enough and that many home based job seekers needed to know the truth and become educated of the various types of legit jobs and opportunities online.
Share one business goal: To educate and inform individuals of scam-free home based jobs and opportunities online.
What would you say contributes to your success? My daily motivation is knowing that I have change the life of one woman or man and given them the resources they need to become the person they desires to be…whether that be a business owner or simply a work at home mom or dad.
What advice would you give an aspiring entrepreneur? As an entrepreneur, you have to first believe in yourself; you have to keep moving forward although you may be faced with setbacks, and you have to see yourself where you want to be rather than where you are. Keep in mind that you will be faced with challenges, but those challenges come to make you stronger and if you can focus on the ending result, rather than the right now results, victory will be your ultimate achievement.
