Tell us about yourself and your business: Greetings! I am a mother of four children ages 13, 11, 8 and 1. Yes, 1. LOL! I stay very busy and laugh to keep from crying most days. With God, all things are possible. I stay strong and do what I need to do to stay focused and balanced.
Currently, I work a full time job outside the home and I’m also a Thirty One Gifts consultant. I am proud to announce that I have promoted to director in qualification! I have been apart of my company for 2 years and very excited about this accomplishment. My plan is to transition out of the J.O.B. into Thirty One full-time.
For those that are unfamiliar with Thirty One Gifts, it is a party plan company that sells purses, totes, luggage, wallets, baskets, and home/organizing accessories. What inspired you to start a business? What inspired me to accept the opportunity with Thirty One was the blessings that I have witnessed so many women receive. Everyone knows that Thirty One sells totes, accessories, and purses. I let everyone know that the opportunity is more than a purse. Women are finding their identity and living their dreams via the Thirty One business opportunity. I for one can attest to this. I have most definitely got out of my comfort zone and met new people and created everlasting friendships and network connections.
What is your favorite quote or saying? You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step. Stepping out on faith can make a powerful change in your life. Just remember the opposite of fear is faith. After you take that first step you will break down barriers and build your dreams.
What is one business goal for this year? One of my business goals for this year is to tell everyone I know about the Thirty One business opportunity. This company is about celebrating, encouraging and rewarding women. This opportunity is for women in all walks of life. Thirty One is doing amazing things. Not only are women starting our own businesses but we are becoming more confident, becoming debt free, creating eternal friendships and stepping out of our comfort zone. We are going where our faith is taking us. The journey is sweet! It all starts with you and your vision.
What would you say contributes to your success? Focusing on my team members and helping them become successful and reach their business goals. Also, being steadfast and positive through the ups and downs and setting my own goals, are a big contribution to my success.
What advice would you give an aspiring entrepreneur? Find out what your passion is. Use your God given talents to make things happen for you. Don’t worry about what others are doing. Focus on you and what you are trying to do with your business.
Are there any projects you are currently working on? I like the idea of vision board parties. This maybe something I try out with my local team. It is a great idea to put your vision out into the universe. To see what you envision everyday on your board will help your mind to make it happen for you. Trust
