Hello and welcome!

My name is Tamyka Washington and I am glad you took the time to visit my site.

I was born and raised in Springfield, MA. Met my husband – the Chef in 1995, we married in 2000 and moved to Tallahassee, FL in 2009 where we now reside with our five amazing children and our dog, Oreo. We enjoy spending quality time together as a family, movie night is our thing and we love to cook, often battling it out in the kitchen!

Prior to becoming involved with Social Media Marketing, I was motivated by my desire to be a work at home mom so I could be home with my three children. So in 2003, I decided to indulge my entrepreneurial spirit by signing on with a cosmetics company to start my own business in direct sales. I learned everything I possibly could about direct sales, attended all my training meetings, conference calls – you name it, I did it and it worked, for a while.

You see, I’m an avid fan of self-education and addicted to knowledge, so over my 7+ years in the industry, I learned what works and what doesn’t. Over the course of my journey, I watched how often the strategies and techniques used to be a “successful marketer” would evolve. However, it seemed the marketing plans of most direct sales companies – mine included, remained the same. As years went on, I continued to do what I was taught but realized my business had become stuck. I had a team who was always “to busy” to work their business and more cancellations on my books then I’d care to remember.

I noticed as technology changed my business tactics needed to change as well. So, I started to investigate the different options I had of marketing myself and my business online. I was able to purchase a website provided by my company but found I was still very limited as to how much I could really participate in Social Media to grow my business.

So in 2009, I made the decision to revamp my marketing strategies and focus on my true passion of mentoring and inspiring women entrepreneurs. I created TheCEOMamma as a representation for all the women who have made the choice to follow their dream and begin the journey of being a business owner. For all the women who have set their fears aside to launch a venture that first started as a vision in her heart.

By simply tweaking my marketing strategies and implementing a few new techniques, my business has finally evolved into so much more than I could have ever imagined. I am now able to take all that I have learned and teach women, just like you, how to use social media and network marketing to build a profitable business and create the lifestyle they desire and deserve.
