My name is Tamyka Washington but you may know me online as TheCEOMamma. Either way, I’m delighted you are here visiting my site!
Hmmm, where do I begin?
Well… I’m a wife, an extremely busy mommy to six (yes, you read correctly), a web entrepreneur and a small business owner in the network marketing industry.
With all that goes on in my everyday life, I know how important it is to have a positive support system and be connected to others pursuing your same goal. I hold a great passion for helping other women fulfill their dream of becoming successful entrepreneurs and business owners.
Prior to becoming involved with Social Media Marketing, I was motivated by my desire to be a work at home mom so I could be home with my three children. In 2002, I decided to indulge my entrepreneurial spirit and started my first business in network marketing so I could work from home and be a full-time mom!
And the journey begins…
I will be the first to admit, it wasn’t easy (especially since I didn’t have a clue as to what to do) but I wanted so desperately to work from home. Money was a huge issue for me and so paying for advertising or hiring help was NOT an option. I had to learn how to do it myself and do it quick because the bills had to get paid.
Being the outside-of-the-box type of woman I am, what I was taught to do – “talk to everyone within 3 feet”, “hand out 5 business cards a day”, “pass out samples” was not about to work for me. I had kids and absolutely no time to spend stalking people at the mall everyday. I had to figure out an easier way to build my business that didn’t require me to waste gas or my time.
So, I turned to the internet!
I discovered and applied free marketing strategies and techniques that allowed me to automate my business, generate targeted pre-qualified leads and free up my time so I could focus on working my business instead of working at my business.
YES, I’m a self-proclaimed information junkie and an avid fan of self-education, addicted to knowledge, so over my many years in the industry, I learned what works and what doesn’t. As a Marketing Consultant, I’m able to teach women, just like you, the same proven techniques and strategies that have worked for me and allowed me to effectively brand myself online and create multiple streams of income from home!
Because my passion and purpose is to inspire and empower women, I also created TheCEOMamma Network Community, an online social network for women entrepreneurs which is Featured in Black Enterprise as a “Ning Network You Need to Know”. Our motto is: Connect with others, Build your network & Grow your business while inspiring others to success!
I enjoy training and mentoring women who are ready to step out on faith and live life on purpose. TheCEOMamma is a representation of all the women who have made the choice to follow their dream and begin the journey of being a business owner. For all the women who have set their fears aside to launch a venture that first started as a vision in her heart and take control of their financial situation.
