Do You Have a Marketing Plan?

At the end of 2009 and after months of planning, I launched my second online business. Three weeks in, I’m excited to report my business goals for this month are being met and I’m on target to completing the rest of my goals for the quarter. Even though my business is brand new and only a month old, I’ve noticed how quickly it is growing compared to my first one.

As each week comes to an end, I take time to revisit my business building efforts and analyze the outcome. What I have discovered to be the reason for my immediate growth is, unlike my first business, I created a marketing plan. I designed a one year plan broken down into four parts, 90 days each. I included a brief summary of my business mission, my target market and my income goals on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis. Most importantly, I structured a schedule, determined to be disciplined and WENT TO WORK!
